Biography

Music is where the magic is. It can call on things unseen and bring them to light. When properly invoked, new spins on old tales and old spins on new tales come to life in word, groove, melody and atmosphere. 

Born in Starkville Mississippi, TILLI left the nest as a teenager and began traveling the world gathering experiences as diverse as painting Tibetan temples, modeling in New York and Europe, immersing herself in the culture and music in India and gathering tools for her artistic life as part of a mystical school. All the while absorbing the sounds of the street, the concert hall, the dive bars and the blues clubs.

The Traveler ep introduces TILLI with three rockin' tunes  (with the help of Producer/Multi-Instrumentalist Alain Johannes (Queens Of The Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Eleven) and rock's favorite son Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters). Johannes played the instruments and produced "Drive All Night" and "Spin Spin" and Grohl played the instruments on "26th Floor". 

From the swampy insomnia of “Drive All Night” to the relentless stomping of "Spin Spin", and finally crashing at full speed into "26th Floor" TILLI careens, speeding down the devil’s highway in this infectious, gritty debut.
