I get asked repeatedly “What is Gearhead” and I figured this would be a fun, slightly irreverent way to help spread the news! For $20 you get a cool shirt with What The Fuck is Gearhead? on the front of the shirt and Gearheadhq.com on the back.
Just like other crowd-funded campaigns, I have to meet my goal in order for me to get the funding! My goal is to sell 50 shirts; that’s doable right? If you dig it, buy two! There’s a women’s and a men’s shirt available, so buy one for your favorite guy or gal.
If I don’t reach my goal it won’t print, so please tell your friends to buy one too: the more the merrier!! It’s the only way you can get this shirt; this is a limited edition run, and the only way to get it is to pledge today We have 2 weeks, until June 29, 2015 to meet or pass my goal, so motor on over to the pledge site today and place your order. I really want this campaign to fund because I really want to wear this shirt!
Thanks in advance for your help and support. I’m pretty excited and encouraged by all the support and can’t wait for the next newsletter to share more of the Gearhead goings on.
Till Next time, keep the rubber on the road!

As the summer heat descends on Northern California, car shows abound. I’ve been out and about almost every weekend getting the word out that Gearhead® is up and running again (hey Portland, OR, I’ll be at the Rose City Round-Up June 20!). Looking at all the cool cars, meeting friends old and new: I’d forgotten how much I enjoy this!<p>
Things at Gearhead HQ are still picking up gas. Mostly I’ve focused on restocking t-shirt inventory. Slow and steady progress is the ticket, although I’d rather smash my foot on the accelerator and just go go go!!
Today’s newsletter is focused on one thing. I know, it’s a miracle for me, especially considering how I poured my heart out in the last newsletter in a stream of conscious rant. Thanks to everyone who read it and sent me words of encouragement!! It makes a difference when I feel I’m interacting with you instead of just sending emails into outer space, LOL!
Anyway, back to the purpose of this newsletter: I’m doing a limited edition t-shirt fundraiser in order to raise money to get inventory restocked. The new shirt is inspired by the classic Rolling Stones photo of Keith Richards wearing a t shirt that reads “Who The Fuck is Mick Jagger” on the front.
