It is inspired by one of my favorite bands, The Rolling Stones. There's a popular photo of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards from the 1970s wearing a "Who The Fuck is Mick Jagger?" shirt. It's hilarious and provided the perfect inspiration for this design. You can see the photo I'm talking about on my website. He clearly was getting tired of fans raving to him about his fellow band mate and in typical brash British fashion made a shirt to put an end to the questions.
What is Gearhead? I get asked this question a lot, and how I answer it depends on the mood I'm in! Sometimes I'm very serious: "Gearhead is a clothing line, record label and magazine" Or I'm just short and sweet, "Gearhead is a lifestyle brand. " Other times, I'm just plain cheeky, which brings me to this t shirt.
Those of you familiar with the Gearhead brand know about the rock 'n' roll influences on this company, but for many of you just discovering Gearhead, this is a serious question that needs to be answered! This shirt invites customers to discover for themselves what Gearhead is with the question on the front, and the place to discover the answer on the back!
This is a fundraiser. All money will go back into Gearhead to get the inventory restocked and to create new shirts.
You have until Monday June 29, 2015 to pledge your support by purchasing one of these shirts! If we reach our goal of 50 pledges, this shirt will print, and you'll get to help me spread the word about Gearhead.
I hope you'll BUY A SHIRT today! I really want to wear this, and will get to with your help!
