Gearhead Annivesary Party Sept. 26, 2015
I can't believe I've spent the last fifteen years running Gearhead, which means this is a great excuse for a party! Join me for this monumental milestone, celebrating all things Gearhead! Things will kick off at 6 pm in front of The Blue Lamp with a car rally and Blessing of the Cars. Feel free to bring anything with wheels; cars, baby strollers, bicycles, motorcycles...roller skates? Ill be giving a non-denominational blessing and introduction. The first band, Sacto Storytellers, kick things off at 7 pm, and The White Barons will take the stage at 8 pm.
At 9 pm, all women are invited to enter the Ms. Gearhead contest with a chance to win a Gearhead Goody Bag, a gift bag from Tres Noir, and a two-page photo shoot and story in a future issue of Gearhead Magazine! It costs $5 to enter, and all money raise will be donated to the Sacramento SPCA. This contest is sponsored by Tres Noir and Nor Cal Knock Out.
The music continues at 10 pm with Pat Todd and Rankoutsiders, hailing from L.A. and at 11 pm Thee Merry Widows take the stage.
There will be food trucks for hungry guests and lots of great shopping to commemorate this fabulous night. Attendance is limited so make sure you buy your tickets in advance for $8. There will also be a tickets available at the door for $10 All guests will get a free poster, perfect for getting autographs from the bands!

Gearhead will host a booth set up under the California sun for another spectacular day of hot rods, customs, music and people watching. 13th Annual Ventura Nationals, Ventura, CA Sept. 5, 2015
Join Gearhead Labor Day Weekend as we head south for the 13th Annual Ventura Nationals. Held in the beach town of Ventura, the weekend kicks off Friday night with a cruise and pre-party featuring bands, photography and art. Saturday the Ventura Fairgrounds will be hopping with hot rods, kustoms, music, food and of course Vendors! Gearhead will have a booth set up inside next to our pals from Cock Grease, so make sure to stop by and enter our free raffle giving away a Gearhead bag of goodies! Head to the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland, CA for the 12th Annual Midnight Mass! Hosted by the Sacramento Poorboys Car Club, this shindig is always a jumpin' good time. The show kicks off at noon with one rockin' band after another. There will be food, a Miss Midnight Mass Contest, sponsored by Gearhead, and of course cars! Gearhead heads to the Rose City, beautiful Portland Oregon for the Rose City Round-Up, a celebration of the hot rod lifestyle and kulture!
It's gonna be a great event, with rockabilly music and dancing Friday night, and a car show, vendors, a flame-throwing contest and much more all day Saturday.
